Friends = Fun

Every travel season my work BFF and I try to meet up for a little soiree in the ciTAY. This year we decided to go to dinner and see a show. Here is a little taste of our day ...

Bond 45 is where it all began. Dinner plus DRINKS. Peach Cosmo and now my new favorite wine Moscato. Thanks to our waiter who promptly brought us free cookies AND a free glass of wine. Yes, Ace [my work BFF] and I had some major mojo that day !!!

Next we decided to walk around and check out the sites ... still thinking of work [ha ha hee hee] we spot this ...

Renee Fleming is a rather famous Crane School of Music Alumni. It was pretty cool. Yes, little things amuse me.

We also decided to do a little shopping and this is what we found.

We also saw Mary Poppins which was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Just go see it, you'll see.

Ahh making memories ... speaking of which I am off to Ottawa to see the Nutcracker with my Mama today. Don't worry we'll take photos.

Little Somethin' Somethin'

So this is a picture of my Mom and I in Edgewater, NJ moments before we headed into NYC. This happened exactly one year ago this week. It was the first and still remains to be the only time little ole me brought people into the ciTAY to "show" them around. I say "show" them around because it was more little a game of cat and mouse. Lets just say I am directionally challenged. My poor Mom and Aunt P were subjected to walking several city blocks in order to go two blocks over at times. In all we had ... fights, laughs and lots of fun. This year I did not have to spend this first of December in NJ which I am grateful for BUT I was hoping to have another go at NYC with my Mom.

Here is mom and Aunt P.

Me trying to figure out where we should be going. Oh and I just bought the scarf. Umm also I miss my long hair.

Hmmm ... Turkey Day is O-V-E-R. Now my favorite time of the year begins. Shopping Time umm I mean Happy Holidays. Yes, I find it hard to decide which I like better the holidays or the actually event of shopping. I am sure someone will read this and try to find my freak flag flying. Seriously, if you are looking for someone to do your holiday shopping for you I'm your lady. Send your email with compensation listed in the subject line. Oh and I also like deals. Happy Shopping!
